It guarantees regularly scheduled air service available from over 30 major air centers in Europe, as well as from North America and Far East.
The international trains arrive at the Warsaw Central Railway Station from major cities and European Capitals. The modern Eurocity (EC) trains offer regular services between major points of interest like: Warsaw - Berlin (6 h), Warsaw - Budapest (10 h), Warsaw - Prague (8 h) or Warsaw - Vienna (8 h).
Warsaw may be entered by car from the West (road 2), from the North (Road 61 or 18), from the East (road 2 or 17), as well as from South (road 7 or 8). In any case, direction Centrum should be followed. A number of local, private bus lines connect almost all leading Polish cities with other European countries such as France, Germany, Benelux, Austria, Italy, Great Britain and Denmark.
Polferries Polish Baltic Shipping Co. maintains regular ferry connections with Sweden and Denmark. Ferries departing from Copenhagen, Ystad or Stockholm reach the Polish northern towns - Gdansk and Swinoujscie. |
